The Quilter's Vest (All Levels ) 1 to 3 Days
This wonderful vest is flattering on almost everyone. What a great way to incorporate a number of your favorite quilting ane embellishment techniques. The dartless pattern is easily fitted, a joy to wear and easy to make. Fabric by Judy Robertson of Just Imagination.
This version is made from two yards of hand dyed cotton and quilted with variegated thread and perle cotton. Very easy to make and very wearable. A great way to use up all that hand dyed fabric we all seem to collect and hate to cut up.

The Scrappy Jacket... (beginner to intermediate) 1 to 2 days
This is a fun jacket to make from fabric samples or leftover quilt scraps. In addition to 4 or 5 inch squares for the "jacket fabric" you construct narrow strips of scraps for trim.

The lining has an envelope with samples falling out. Around the envelope I stenciled "Please send more samples" |

After heavily stitching the surface with a variety of threads you add your choice of embellishment. Antique pearl buttons from your button box make a great trim. |
