Weaving in Southeast Asia

The first few photos show spinning hand dyed yarn in a school for weavers in Northeast Thailand.  One photo shows yarn for ikat being carefully dyed and wrapped.  The next to the last photo shows hand dyed fabric drying in a yard.

The last photo is in a weaving village on the edge of Vientiane, Laos.  The women who do the weaving are showing a buyer some of their wares.
